The 14th meeting of the series International Conference on Recent Progress
in Many Body Theories (RPMBT14) will take place in the North Campus of the
Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) in Barcelona. The Conference
continues the series initiated in Trieste in 1979 and are devoted to new
developments in the field of many-body theories. The emphasis is twofold:
progress in technical aspects of microscopic theories and review of recent
applications of many-body techniques. The number of fields where nowadays
MBT are applied and developed is continuously growing. In addition to the
more traditional topics, such as nuclear physics and quantum liquids, we
will also consider atomic physics, cold Bose and Fermi gases, and quantum
information. The multidisciplinarity will be again, as in past meetings,
one of the most exciting challenges of the Conference.
