CIMNE Congress Bureau is also honoured to hold the permanent secretariat of three organizations from the field of Computational Mechanics on a national, european and international level.

Sociedad Española de Mecánica e Ingeniería Computacionales - SEMNI

The Spanish Society of Computational Mechanics and Computational Engineering (SEMNI) emerged in 1989 with the aim of bringing together researchers, professionals, companies and institutions interested in the development and practical applications of numerical methods.

The main objectives of SEMNI are to promote, foster, organize and coordinate activities related to numerical methods and their applications in engineering.

International Association for Computational Mechanics - IACM

IACM was formally established in 1981.

With the Constitution giving equal emphasis to the three geographical Regions of Americas, Euro-Africa and Australia-Asia a rotation of its World Congresses between the regions on a two year cycle was established.

European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences - ECCOMAS

The European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS) was founded in 1993. 

ECCOMAS is a scientific organization grouping together European associations with interests in the development and applications of computational methods in science and technology.
