Pick-up from the hotel to the town. Visit to the Platane tree of Hippocrates and the Castle of the Knights. Walk in town along the Ancient and New Agora, visit to the Archaeological Museum. Coffee or refreshment in Eleftherias Square. By bus to Asklepieion for a guided visit (45 to 60 minutes). Return to the town, walk in the Old Town and lunch in side-by-side restaurants-taverns of Diagoras Square Return to the hotel. Duration from 3 to 5 hours (lunch time excluded)

Pick-up at the hotel. Drive to the picturesque settlement of ZIA (mountain Dikaios) for a promenade in the village and coffee or refreshment in a panoramic “kafeneion”. Drive through the villages Pyli and Kardamena to Kefalos. Lunch of three courses at a beach Restaurant of Limionas Bay. Return via Antimachia (visit to the Windmill and the Traditional House) and Mastichari to the hotel.
Duration from 5 to 7 hours.
Price per person (including professional guiding, bus and entries Windmill and Traditional House) €40.

Day 3: Island Cruise

Option 1: Kalymnos/Plati/Pserimos (www.nostalgia.gr/excursions-kalymnos.html )

Departure at about 09.30 from the harbour of Kos on board of beautiful wooden sailing boat(s). After a nice boat trip of about 90 minutes arrival to the port of Pothia, the picturesque town of Kalymnos. Walk along the harbour, visit to a sponge factory, demonstration of manufacture of sponges. Sail by same boat to the sandy beach of Plati for swimming and barbecue with an ouzo on board. Later sail to Pserimos Bay for relaxation and return to Kos at about 17.30.

Option 2: Nissyros (www.nostalgia.gr/excursions-nissyros.html)

From the hotel by bus to Kardamena (nearly 45 minutes drive) and by boat to Nissyros. Arrival in Mandraki (after 50 minutes), short walk at the port before departing on mini vans to the volcano (30 minutes). Walk downhill to the crater. Return to Mandraki, visit to the idyllic town and lunch in typical tavern(s). Optional visit to the Monastery of Panagia Spiliani and return to Kardamena and to the hotel by 17.30.
